Face Spectre is a boss on Slender Fortress and was introduced in the Proxy Infestation update. But was removed and then readded in the 26/06/2020 changelog also known as The Summer Time Fun Revival Update.

Description[]
The Face Spectre is an extremely scary monster to face in Afraid of Monsters, it seems to be an Alien Grunt which is fully transparent but when it attacks it flashes a demonic 2D face that would scare the hell out of anything, it kills by shooting and by melee attacking. This makes this monster extremely unpredictable because you won't know where it is coming from.
In Slender Fortress[]
Face Spectre is in the Cry of Fear pack. It works similar to its form from Afraid of Monsters but you can see it much better when the face doesn't pop up, they still have both attacks from the game and can kill a scout in 5 shots or hits. It has been changed into a hit and run with a cloaking ability, it was also given a jumpscare and the ability to be killed

- The Face Spectre's real name in Afraid of Monsters is called the "Bleeding Spectre".
- You can see the translucency of Alien Grunt.
- The Face Spectre is probably the only boss that got removed because of how much hatred was spread by the community, Glubbable, also didn't like the boss personally and how bad the port of this boss was.
- As the runner up (to Blood Golum) for a vote on Glub's discord to add a certain boss back from discontinuation, it was added back and was reworked to act a lot more faithful to it's game counterpart as well as being a much more fun to go against.
