Jason Voorhees is a boss from Slender Fortress.

Description[]

Jason Voorhees was the main antagonist of the Friday the 13th franchise. He was a silent, undead and unstoppable killing machine. He was an iconic madman who haunts Camp Crystal Lake and the surrounding area, driven to slaughter anyone he encounters by a burning need to avenge the death of his beloved mother, Pamela Voorhees. He has killed 126 people (counting Andy's and Debbie's unborn child, 15 of the people he killed while he possessed someone, and Creighton Duke's girlfriend and an Unnamed man in bathroom which are completeley off screen) over the years.

In Slender Fortress[]

Jason Voorhees is a a Slasher in Boss Pack 1 and the Legendary Pack. He is just like any other Hit-and-Run Boss: he spawns behind the players, giving no mercy to the sprint or the players hit. Jason has a method to catch a person: first he will target a person to chase. After the chase for a few seconds, if the area has a very large rooms to fit in and can be spawnable for Jason, he will spawn and chase the player and will continue doing so until either the player is dead or the player found a very crowded place that will prevent him from spawning.

Jason, Scarecrow and Walrider appear to be the only hit and run bosses that are much more persistent than the others, chasing some people for over 10 seconds.

In a recent update Jason silently marks the player for death for 6 seconds.

As of the 1.7.0 Update, Jason can now set bear traps. If caught in one of these traps the player will be stuck in place with a bleeding effect until they either bleed to death due to being traps for too long. Two scenarios can occur when a player is trapped: the boss can find the trapped player and kill them or one of the other players could free the trapped player by striking the trap that holds the captured player.

In Summer Camp[]

In the Summer Camp map, he acts a bit differently. For example, he will play as a chaser with moderate persistence and fast speed. He doesn't instakill players, but he does deal high damage with a bleeding effect. He can also be stunned by a melee hit; however, it is very brief.

Recommendation[]

Because Jason Voorhees will spawn very close in your vicinity, players may find themselves running away from him very frequently. The Scout and the Demoman will be your best chance at running away from him.

Be ready to run.

Trivia[]

  • It seems that Jason is the only Hit and Run to have a little bit of grace period before chasing a player, therefore, he will give you mercy to quickly run out of his sight.
